The Vita, for some reason, just sounds less and less appetizing... Even as they point out cool things, they do more things to neutralize it. Example: "Oh hai! You want to bring over your PSP UMD games to the Vita? That's fine by us. By owning the games, you get a DISCOUNT PRICE to download the games onto the system."

More than likely, yeah. Vita's nice looking, but some of the decisions on the network and backwards compatibility is extremely questionable, and that's putting it lightly.

Vita is the next gen PSP, useful if you do your gaming on the move, but I barely use my PSP, every time I dig it out, it's been sitting for so long I need to charge the battery and reset the clock.

I would recommend the PS3 if you do your gaming at home.

Yeah there's a lot of things good about the Vita, for example, the screen-oh my god-looked so beautiful and the graphics were good for the size of the thing (it's slightly bigger than the PSP-3000). But everyone knows there must be a catch. There was. The thing drains so much power to power that screen, the fact you have to download the games when if you have a PSP-Go it already does that... and that thing is as light as almost nothing in your hands. So for the price of it, no... just no. Plus with the PS3 you have Blu-Ray, multimedia and a larger selection of games in the comfort of your own home.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I like to go in-depth. PS3 FTW.

I suggest the PS3 too, for both game selection options and sheer processing power.

Vita would be good if you go out a lot and have time to play sometimes, AND/OR is more a casual player. It's like a weaker console to play on demand. Unless you get enough good games on it that you may want.

Myself, I got a DS way before getting a Wii, and my DS has seem more usage, so it's a mater of gaming style X3

so far seems PS3 is what im going to get now :)
