To take command is to assume great responsibility. With responsibility comes decisions that look wrong, but are the only ways to go.

I'm a huge IndyCar fan, been following it since the mid-2000s and really fell in love with it during the 2010 season.
Today was the season finale, and there was a ton of momentum and hype going in. Las vegas was supposed to be a day of celebration. The crowning of a champion and a rookie of the year, as well as a driver going for a five million dollar bonus after winning the Indy 500 in May.
It turned into tragedy after a 15 car pileup after 12 laps. Dan Wheldon, a past IndyCar champion AND two time winner of the Indy 500 (including 2011) lost his life today after succumbing to injuries after the crash.
I know there are many of us who aren't racing or sports fans, but we're all human and in the end, he died doing what he loved. How many of us will ever say that?
He may not be a family member or friend, but he will be missed.
