... but if you are a WoW player, then you must have know about this already. I don't play WoW, but this race that they added to the game was something I was hoping for when they started WoW, the Pandaren.
Thing is, even though this race was a result of an April fools joke during the WC days (the RTS one), it gained positive results from the players. It was even added as a playable race in the WoW PnP game. Now I read the comments in youtube, MMO sites and the WoW site itself and it seems a lot of players hate the new race. Whats funny is that most of them says that this race is "new" and should not be in the game. Then again, most players don't even care about the history of the game they're playing.

True origins is in a bonus mission in the original Warcraft games.
Regarding the disappointment... I have to admit some of it makes me quirk an eyebrow. Racial abilities revolving around cooking, eating, falling, and doing nothing; little lack luster.
Mind you, I'm like you. Any positive support for the furry option welcome... but WoW already had Tauren and Worgen. The Pandaren are just pandering the crowd.
