New Car/Halloween

Why hello again,
So tonight I made some more progress on my fursuit, here’s what’s left:
-saw off the heels on my boots and attach the toes, fur them and paint the stripes on
-finish painting the tail
- fix lower jaw so it doesn’t slip off my head
- finish/attach the neck
-finish other handpaw
- finish second pair of sock paws
- do the shirt
But I’ve figured I only need to make it a small partial for Halloween. So here’s what I really need to do before then,

So yeah, not so bad. I have to work tomorrow and it’s like for 11 hours, AND corporate is coming in to do an inspection…but I have Tuesday off which I plan on working on this all day. If I can get the bootpaws done, it will just be an added bonus. I think I might just make it.
So anyway, guess what? I finally got my very own car. It’s a white Subaru Outback. I paid for it in full, $3,250 which was practically a steal. Anyone that lives in New York or Virginia knows that every car has to pass inspection, thusly, cars are much more expensive. There are not any $500 beaters here so I saved up and I got a car. I love it to bits, when I test drove it; it was love at first sight. I came back later that day and bought it. I still haven’t decided what to name it, at first I thought it was female but now I’m not so sure. So for now it’s referred to as “Baby” or “The Sashamobile.” I’ll post some pictures soon in my scraps and you guys can help me name it. c:
Also I have a bit of a problem. With the way things are going at work, it looks like I may be working on Halloween. I didn’t get my request off soon enough, turns out there’s a new rule that only four people can request off for a day at a time, and it’s first come first serve. So I missed out. Also I just got my request granted to be put back on nightshift. xD So I may end up working Halloween night. If I do then I guess I’ll just go out in my costume that morning/afternoon. It might be better that way anyway because my vision is kind of terrible in my head and even with a handler/spotter it would still be hazardous to walk in the dark. I’m still not sure what I’m doing. One thing’s for sure, I’m not going to Bush Gardens.
I got a free ticket from work a few months ago because we got a 0 on some inspection thing, but it expires on Halloween. And I can’t get off to go. It seems a shame, it’s like a $66 ticket otherwise. :C So that makes me sad.
Although, you know what? Now that I think about it if I do work that night, we could end up so slow that we close early. It has happened a few times before. If we make less than $50 an hour we can close. No sense in staying open. I’m expecting everyone to be trick or treating or having parties, not at McDonald’s getting 15 Mcdoubles. I could be wrong but I’m going to stay hopeful. Halloween is like the only holiday I really care about.
Anyway I should get to bed. I have to open the store tomorrow and that whole corporate thing. They’re threatening to suspend people if the place isn’t clean.Because we all know a sharp stick works so well. Forget the carrot. The way I see it, I have little bills to pay, and my car is paid off. If I get suspended, I’ll just take it as a forced vacation. I an’t even mad. So yeah I need some sleep to handle that. The past few days I’ve been so sleep deprived I’m like a zombie and my brain is not with me. I want to sleep in but I can’t do that until Tuesday. At least tomorrow I will have someone else helping me open grill.
