Does anyone know or is someone who can compose and record for me a fairly short piece of music in a reasonable (by reasonable I mean 4 weeks) amount of time? It has to be something I can use in my demo reel in which I can/will be showing animation directors and is part of my final assessment for the year.

It's not vital for us to have music in our show reels, I just thought it would be nice to have it. I don't wish to use something copyrighted as that sends a bad message out to the work force that I intend to be entering. However, that being said, if someone is willing to compose and record (preferably to a high standard of recording) a 45 second background/instrumental piece of music for me, they will be credited (essentially it's an opportunity to get your name out there and in NZ no less =) ). I am willing to do a couple of pieces of art for this person.

In other good and happy news.... I've virtually passed my third and final year of study. I just have this last assessment to do and since it's basically just a compilation exercise and the only way to fail is not submit something, I'm looking to be qualified. I also only have six more weeks left of classes and then I have to be responsible and get a job ^-^ or something like that anyway.
