What's Your Favourite Game?
What with Christmas approaching, new games are set to come out soon, some of which I'm looking forward too; Assassin's Creed Revalations, Saints Row the Third and the new Tomb Raider. I'm also still a liiiiiittle bit obsessed with Portal 2, just because it has such a funny story and dialogue, so, it got me wondering;
What are your favourite games to play?
They can be anything, PC, XBox, Online etc. Which game do you think is your favourite and why?

Also, I enjoy the Half-Life and Portal series, the Zelda series, Angry Birds, a variety of puzzle games like Picross and Word Warp, and some group games like Apples 2 Apples and Once Upon a Time. Oh, and I've recently been getting into this new app game called Infect Them All, where you run around as a zombie trying to infect everyone else and turn them into zombies.
And what game did with both just lose O_O Life? The Game of Thrones?
And I just bought Battlefield 3 *nods*
Lots of other games that are good, but not a lot that I own. On free to play, there is this one site called "Billy versus Snakeman" that has had my interest for over a year. It's a one man project; an anime parody game created by someone who owns an anime store/site. There are parts that are blatant like the name of the game itself, and others that are much more subtle like references in Glowslinging content. It's browser based, with text/java coordinated with visual enhancements and... this actually starting to sound like an advert so I should probably shut up now.
May I ask what 'Glowslinging' is?
Concerning Gameplay Glowslinging is a rock paper scissors game with five options. Choosing the right move only gives you a bonus to the associated skill roll off, and winning the roll off allows you to do damage. The rolls each have a range increased by your Spin stat with the results penalized by your Risk stat. Spin and Risk are changing stats based on which skills you and your opponent use turn by turn. Add in special attacks, special abilities, and boss battles and you basically have what the game is.
Game allows a certain amount of Glowslinging duels per day modified by items, abilities, and overnight choices. You can also put your daily resource, Stamina, towards more Glowslinging duels, but it's at a ratio that is only advantageous for high tier players who are doing nothing but Glowslinging. (Which immediately after the release of Glowslinging, they were. Now they're all playing Pachinko... in game, not RL.)
Glowslinging is advanced content since it not only requires delving moderating deep into BillyCon to unlock but also involves having reached a certain point in R00t (think .//hack parody) which would in itself require Season 2 progression... yes, you did read the word Season. The game itself has parodies of a syndicated television within it's construction. Long story short, look at it as a whole package, not just one (completely awesome) content area.
Mass Effect 3's also looking good, but that comes out post holiday.
Also, WoW.
I would certainly recommend it if you have a Gamecube or Wii.
Are you aware that you have chosen an amazing game as your option?
I preferred the game play in Baten Kaitos, but the two together are possibly the strongest RPG titles for the Gamecube.
sonic cause it's fast paced game play
zelda cause of story and HARD puzzles
kingdom hearts cause of story combat
kirby cause of... idk
donkey kong same as mario
I've bought Dragon Age 2 since March but to try it, I'm waiting for a new and powerful computer that my dad should give me soon. I can't wait to experience the new wonders of this game after Dragon Age Origins !
Actually yes. ^^; I was randomly thinking about Sly not too long ago. And I thought, "Yes! Why not?"
Tales of Series (I only have Symphonia, Symphonia 2 and Vesperia), some Final Fantasy, etc. @_@
What I think is the best game ever made? Super Mario Bros. 3
Also, when I've got some time I love to pick up the new batman arkam series games for some henchmen beat down action.
Megaman series is also something I'm particularly fond of ^^ particulr favourites include megaman 2, 6, 9, X1-4, Battle network 3, and the Zero series =3
