Artwork Deleted
If you're wondering where my recently submitted artwork went, it was deleted as per the request of FA admin. If you wish to view said artwork, you can go here:
https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=162594
but you will need an Inkbunny account to do so. Or you can just peruse e621. I'm sure it'll eventually be posted there as well, if it isn't already.
Peace, furries

I know about all the drama surrounding him, but I wouldn't even have remembered it, if it wasn't for this journal now, lol.
I am well aware of the DMCA-ing, see below. :P
Do you know how irrational that sounds?
How is that to have the art removed?
I've had some big ass drama trouble in the past but it has not weighed me down.

Thats fucked up.
I wouldn't even have made the connection to him cause the bandana wasn't on him on Sigma's pic, hence I didn't remember him in this occasion.
But still this shit reminds me of why FA had to remove stuff like Bambi & sonic art, cause those stuck up © jerks cant be fair & threatening sues on FA owners & not to mention that talk about those that (I think) take care of FA's $ to run the site?
I cant remember everything, all I know is If anyone is to blame its those © owners & haters that like to be more then fucking unfair to us who draw thier stuff!
Im surprised FA admins boycotted it. Thats just not right. I read up about it all so i in-a-way know whats the deal but that was a long time ago.
If the guy has nothing to do with the individual(lupine or whoever) and dont even know him i dont see why anyone would even bother or care for the matter.
The ones who are nuts are the ones who actually hating Lupine but yet dont even know the guy or talk to him and never met or had an issue. Goes along with the banner shit.
Im insulted because theres Chocoate! -exagguration->

PEOPLE GET THE FUCK OVER IT GOD DAMN!
Essentially, FA does this simply to avoid legal issues. It has pretty much nothing to do with anything else.
wouldve just not put in his name then no problem
For anything else, hes there and we are here and thats about it. As long as hes not doing what this guy named dozer4545 or 4564 is doing. He is OCD and once you let him be your friend he will throw lies like TMZ and papirazzi(however you sell it). And yeah hes here on FA.
Dragoneer, however, has a personal problem with him and as such, artwork of him can't be posted here. Seems a bit silly to me, but whatever.

when did the furryfandom turn in to paparazi like sueing and offenders xP
I find it unbelievable how so many furries do not understand how copyrights work, it's outrageous really since this is an art-based community, and this is something artistic people should know. So many furries are convinced that they hold a copyright to any artwork with their "white wolf with black markings" character... The following is a brief summary of what is really a very convoluted subject, not legal advice, etc., etc...
The U.S. Copyright Office has a long standing policy of refusing to register fictional characters by themselves, as doing so would be inconsistent with the laws governing copyrights.
Copyrights apply to works of art, such as drawings, paintings, music, stories and films, and belong to the creator of said work, unless otherwise agreed (such as may be the case for work done as part of a paid commission). If you draw a picture of your friend's fursona, you hold the copyright to that picture, not whoever uses that fursona.
Adoptables? Copyrights apply only to a particular artist's way of expressing his or her work; they do not apply to the ideas, messages or images expressed by that particular work. You can't copyright a character as it is an idea, you only hold the copyright to the actual works of art which may feature the characters.
You automatically own the copyright to works that you create without having to do anything, however unless you register the copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office, you are only entitled to injunctive relief (such as a court order to stop people from infringing on your copyright) but not monetary damages.
But here's the catch... copyrights do apply to derivative works of the original art, so if you were to start a comic featuring, say, Disney characters, that would be infringing on the copyrights of the original Disney stories, films, etc. Using these characters would constitute a derivative work in most, if not all, cases.
Fair Use such as parodies as a derivative work, is allowed, under certain conditions, but that's another legally complicated subject that we don't need to get into right now.
And, characters can be trademarked and you had better believe Disney, Hasbro, etc., characters are registered trademarks. But, trademarks are limited in scope to characters (or other marks) that are used in commerce and identify a particular company, product, service, etc. Odds are, your fursona is not a trademark... maybe if you are a fursuit maker?
That said, I can't really blame FA or Dragoneer for not wanting to get involved in all of this, as the time, money and drama surrounding it may simply not be worth trying to defend themselves, even if they haven't done anything wrong.
Rule 34 is allowed, but porn of his character isn't... Wat.
I'm not trying to defend the whole Fur Affinity vs. LupineAssassin thing, but the fact that he went that far and DMCA'd them... wow.
It's a great picture <3. Great work on the bear, and I'm sorry you didn't get to feature that in your gallery here as well, since you said you've never drawn one before.
