Give me a good adventure/RPG for N64 or PC. Something long or open ended, and has plenty of areas to explore. Something free roaming.

If you don't mind a little shooty shooty or stealth, I was actually going to suggest the first Deus Ex. It has a very unique and successful RPG system. It doesn't quite have free-roam, so to speak, but the game isn't that linear.

It's a RPG, but it's played from first person. It's open world, lots of quests (not the 'fetch me 20 wolf skins type either) but i'm not sure if that is what you are after when you RPG/Adventure.

Ever played Faery Tale Adventure? I'd suggest either the Sega Genesis port or the Amiga version (In this case the amiga version with the (cr Fireskull) tag, to bypass the part where you type in stuff from the manual), but avoid the DOS port of it.
