Still not too often I can really get on here, but I figured I'd post an update of events or something for anyone who cares to read.
Me and Kao are still running into each other whenever I can make time to bug him, and another buddy of mine, Kovu, is around too, but I think he's stuck up in Bagram, so I won't really get to see him.
Work has been slow and monotonous as usual, though as a side job, I got stuck on the security team if anything happens to the base. Only perk with that is I get to haul around more ammo.
I'm still waiting for my turn to go on a convoy and meet the friendly locals (that's sarcasm btw =P )
Today was nice though. I got the chance to fly out on a V-22 Osprey. Those things are ridiculously maneuverable and fast; flies like a fixed wing, but can do all the stunts of a rotary wing and then some.
Made a couple people sick, but I enjoyed it. I'll upload a pic or two of that once we compile them all together.
Other than all that, it's just the usual. Would be nice if I could make some more friends out here to hang out with though. If anyone knows any furs stationed out here, tell em I said hi; even better if they're European, I love meeting new and foreign people.

Also, are you talking about the IDF that landed near the runway? That was a rocket, be careful over there, most of that stuff seems to land closer to you. x.x
