Origin fucks over Battlefield 3 on launch day!!!

Wouldn't you just fucking know it?
I got Bf3 on the release date today (they started selling the game at midnight last night, but I've got a job so no go there), I take the bus over to the city where I pick up my preordered copy. I take the bus back home, put the disc in my PC, hit AutoRun.exe, skip the installation of Origin (I already have it due to needing Steam for another game), so I come over to the Origin activation page....
And nothing happens.
Wtf.
And now I check around, and after seeing a few message boards full of people with the same problem, I find this.

At the top of their page, it says
NOTICE: Origin activation is down at the moment. We are aware of the issue and working on it. Thank you for your patience. See news for more info.
So let me get this straight. One of the most hyped-up games of the year, maybe even the decade, and the website/server/whatever that you *have* to go through to get even the singleplayer campaign to work goes down on the launchdate?
That is fucking MENTAL!!!
Why do they put us through this? I mean, I know it's meant to make it hard for the pirates, but you're making it even harder for the people who actually *bought* the game legit to get the damn thing to work!
Ugh, I'm going to bed and *hoping* this will have sorted itself out before friday afternoon when I come home from work.
Here's my heartfelt condolences to all the other Europeans currently screaming at their screens and cursing Origin to the deepest fiery pits of Satan's hairy asshole.

FA+

They have over reached and are using the same servers as they were for DS2 before they took them offline.. they dont upgrade things unless they are forced to so they are in full blown panic now *shrugs*
actually they're quite common, Dead Space 2 already had an online pass and only more and more will have these.
Just fuck them.
Let's watch the same thing happen when Mass Effect 3 comes out, shall we?
Just typiskt på releasedagen i Europa dessutom.....
EA has been double and triple charging people for the game that ordered it online.
Seriously, EA can't do a damn thing properly god knows how they will fuck up what remains of Bioware.
this is not the first time EA does shit like this
If not, I guess I made a mistake by buying BF3 instead of MW3 - then again, I'm sick of getting the same repeated crap with new maps year after year.
"So when the pirates Crack this [and Crack it they will] not only will they have gotten the game for free, THEY'LL HAVE A BETTER VERSION THEN WE WILL, FUCK!"
I Think they where raging about how you couldn't play the game with out an internet connection. [so if you where Overseas or something, YOUR FUCKED :D]
1. This is why I very, very rarely buy things on release day, much less new.
2. That's what pirating is for. (:
Either that or just let me play the goddam game i payed £40 for without having to register for three different services i'm allready registered for and now i've forgotten the password and goddamnit.
