I think that concept is an insult to sarcasm. If someone can't tell you're being sarcastic, then they don't deserve to have it explained to them.

I don't know...I've seen a lot of flame wars start because someone didn't pick up something sarcastic as being so.

I don't care about other people starting flame wars, I just notice an overabundance of people saying something along the lines of "there needs to be a sarcasm font" or something like that.
