Lucario and Ness in Brawl?! <3~

Now, first off, above all, I know people are making some ridiculous claims all the time about who they think should be or is going to be in Brawl~ But this time, I present to you some pretty strange material that could allude to Ness and Lucario being playable characters in Brawl. Bear with me, read on, and you'll see what I mean.
The second-last Brawl update on the official site (from the date I posted this journal) was one detailing Sticker-powerups usable in the Subspace Emissary single/dual-player story mode. (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/game.....a/modea12.html) Basically, the point is that you can place stickers you find in-game on a character's trophy-base to add powerups to their abilities. (For the Subspace Emissary only.) They don't mention it, but the icons in the bottom-right show what characters they can be used on. (http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/.....rsiconsmn1.png) Also, note that some of the stickers had their icons cleverly removed. (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/.....noiconsjt5.png) This either means that the sticker works for everyone, or that the icons were doctored out to protect their super-secret characters from being revealed.
Now, on to part II of our story:
There's a Japanese site, showing a game play montage of Super Smash Brothers Brawl (That many of you may not have seen -- check it out as it's imperative to my point: http://wii.com/jp/movies/smashbros-movie1/) It shows a bunch of fighting, basic gameplay strategies -- but the real kicker is at 4:20 - 4:22, where it shows a stickerbook that highlights Groudon, Lucas, and Sonic before flipping pages. The stickers, unlike the screenshots on the update-page above, do not appear to show any character icons -- it merely passes them by and goes on to the next scene.
Now, this may seem like a stretch, and I hope this works the way it worked for me -- bear with me, and please just try it, I know someone else was able to work it correctly as I learned about this possible hint from someone on Lulz.net.
The moment it flicks to the sticker page at 4:20 and shows Groudon highlighted, pause it immediately -- again, you can't see any icons. But now, unpause it, and watch very carefully, very quickly -- something happens in the following second, the video vertically reformats, and for a second you can see text and icons appear -- here's a screenshot in case you can't view the video, or aren't fast enough, or just don't feel like trying it: http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/76.....riozoomll7.png. First we have Pikachu, the Pokémon Trainer, and.... what's that third one?! Is it Lucario? -- Oh yeah, and there's Jigglypuff there, too.
As well, try the same thing a short moment after, pause the movie when Groudon is still highlighted, only a moment before it shifts to Lucas -- you'll see this hidden screenshot emerge when it vertically reformats: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/55.....esszoomls8.png -- You can see Ness' icon there, beside Lucas'. (I think we all honestly expected Ness to return, but this might make things seem a bit more concrete. On such a note, just my opinion, but I expect the majority of (if not all of) the cast of SSBM to be back. At least the biggest main ones that everyone's whining abut, like Ganondorf and Captain Falcon.)
In addition, here's the link to the thread in which a poster first showed his own evidence of these findings. (Just to prove I didn't doctor them up myself!): http://lulz.net/furi/res/166939.html -- Check the second poster's comment. This also proves I'm not the first to see it, too -- I just decided to check myself to see if he was just a Photoshopping-bullshitter.
So yes!
Someone, please try this, and tell me you got the same result!
shippomaru saw me do it, he knows I'm not crazy! x3
Now I know this doesn't necessarily mean anything -- it could be false, fake, or just some Japanese asshole trying to fuck with us.
But still... I'm excited if this is the truth. :3
Edit: Although they look the same, the icons for the Pokemon Trainer and Ness are certainly not the same: http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/98.....rvsnesskx3.png -- so the icon appearing on Lucas' sticker is most certainly Ness.
Edit 2: Other sources claim that the icons were plainly visible early in the video's release -- they changed it to make them invisible, but using the method above, you can still force them to appear.
Edit 3: Well, whether if through me or not, https://www.digg.com found out about this, so now the whole internet knows. I'm not very special anymore, now am I~ It's funny that it surfaced not even a full day until after I mentioned it, isn't it~ <3
Edit 4: Apparently, the GameFAQs user "Edible" found this stuff out almost a day before me: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/ge.....topic=40906054 I did not know this at the time of making this journal, but I guess I can't claim any originality. ;~; My fifteen minutes of fame, gone!

FA+

In any case YES LET IT BE TRUE.
Lucario wouldn't surprise me, though. He was like the hyped pokemon for Diamond/Pearl, and he wouldn't be hard to make into a smash character.
It's just my opinion, but I think they're done cutting corners for content purposes -- I think they'll make everyone unique, with newly recorded voice-sets and what have you, to boot.
All in all, we'll know everything when it's released in Japan in 10 days as some crazy hardcore player will unlock the whole game in twenty minutes and spoil everything for everyone else (And I can't say I don't want to know.)
I mean, they basically just have to make an ew model and play with the speeds and it makes everyone happy x3
Look and see, indeed, they are certainly different, and the latter is most certainly Ness.
but yeah, cool shet. i love how nintendo tried to censor it after they were found out..it still shows up if y'pause it, but if you play it it's covered up XD (unless it has been completely covered now..)
and yes, it's true, tried it myself
And I'm glad you tried it for yourself!
Evidence I'm not crazy. <3
Why the hell isn't the release date universal?! x3
As soon as the game comes out there, everything will be revealed to us -- every big secret, little secret, tiny nuance -- the official Smash Bros. Site will be useless. Silly Nintendo~
I'm just disgruntled and want everyone to wait the same amount of time. x3
You'll also have to wait extra for Nintendo to get the distribution all worked out on a country by country basis. Even with EU laws countries have there own set of rules which can add to delays. It's quite possible you'd have to wait a few weeks to a month longer. Of course you wouldn't really know as it's a work wide release but many difficulties creep in behind the back.
Most publishers don't bother with true world wide releases as it's simply considered an logistic nightmare and hey, they want to start making money sooner if possible. Nintendo isn't any different.
I am honestly kinda enjoying all those OMG responses from the American side of things. The delay even after "OMG official site said release date is then so it must be true!" or "Commercials are already showing in Japan so we must follow soon!". Welcome to the way Nintendo of Europe works but far more on an regular basis on this side of the big pond. You're even talking about importing a console to play it sooner. That's an EUROPEAN RESPONSE and way of thinking. :P
I have heard Americans complain about Europeans who bitch so much about these kind of issues but as it shows you'll all get the same kind of idea's when faced with the same thing. So bitching about this is universal .:P
That said though if you want to have the game sooner you should instead bitch a lot more about the Wii's region lock. That'll make far more sense. There is no real technical issue for an US Wii to play Japanese games. It's only more DRM to make you only able to buy when said publisher wants you to buy. And with good reason for them. If there was no region lock more then half of Europe would only import US games as it'll prove to be far cheaper even with import tax and shipping.
I was going to say something at the end of my comment saying "Well at least we don't have to wait as long as the Europeans, with no set release date" to avoid an inevitable comment like that one. x3
I like the Xbox. A Lot of their significant releases are everywhere-at-the-same -time, like BioShock.
You guys do tend to eat it hard with releases, yes~
And the complaints are fully justified.
I was just afraid I wouldn't be able to withdraw my vacation at the time, so I was like... wtfnintendo.
But that aside.. It seems to indeed be there. I really hope Lucario isn't just a freaking trophy/pokeball summon. Being able to monkey punch Sonic right in the face with him would be sweet. Spiked. Dead.
He needs to have a back-hand move. <3
