Hey James Taylor, I think I like you

General
I am fairly sure that the only way I can remove the best of James Taylor from my brain may be a bullet, or at least some crude pick device to penetrate my skull, and frontal lobes.
this dramatic realization came to me after day 4 of constant play of the best of James Taylor.
I am not sure what is worse, the fact that I cannot avoid hearing the easy listening echoing in my head. or the fact that I may earnestly like the music.
Ether way, i have concluded that you should avoid James Taylor's music for the time being.

etc etc.
*Awoooooo-coughcoughcough*
"Tapestry" - Carole King
"The Very Best Of Linda Ronstadt" - Linda Ronstadt
"Songs for the Family of Man: A Collection 1969-1979*" - Paul Williams
"Carpenters|Gold**" - Carpenters
*None of his Muppets work is represented here, sadly most of the later recordings that feature him singing the songs Kermit and Gonzo made famous show the degradation of his voice caused by his long time struggle with substance abuse.
**Notably missing, "Where do I go from here?" Which, depending on your affinity for loves songs is a must and you can pick up the single.
Happy Listening!
