Amnesia is awesome. I got it on Steam a few days ago for 4 bucks and it kept me hooked. I dont usually get freaked out by much, but it got to me a few times!

I have a very low tolerance for suspenseful horror so this is gunna be hell for me.: D

Have you ever played it before? Its very 'atmosphere' creepy vs 'stick the gore in your face' creepy. A lot of the horror element is presented to you in written form or verbal flashback sequences which allow your mind to do the scaring for you. Its also somewhat of a slow buildup, but when the scary stuff starts to happen, itll make you jump.

Nope, never played it before. Watched a playthru once, but that was...a year or so ago. I'm not a big fan of either creepy, tho i generally handle gore better because...disgusting and painful and disturbing as it is, it doesn't tickle my flight response nearly as much as paranoia and apprehension.

But yeah... when my friends who don't scare easy and embrace horror say this game gets jumps and cold sweats out of them, uh, well, we'll see what happens. We've made the goal amount to have me play this game from start to finish so I do hope i don't start having nightmares like another (much tougher than me) friend started having, because... I like sleeping, it helps me continue to draw. x.x;

Still, we'll see what happens.

Haha, good luck. I played it in the dark with my headphones on (like any good horror game should be played), and was hooked on it til I played a 9-hour marathon and beat the game. All I can say is, when you get to the "back hall" area, youre gonna sit there for about 5-10 minutes just winding down listening to the only calming music track in the game. ;)

My husband is setting up a pause-counter.I'll have all the lights on, as well as headphones. Not sure if anyone will be talking at me while I play, because I'll likely miss some of the more subtle sounds... like doors opening and closing... so I'll probably fall off my chair at least once.

...I really need to save up for a new chair... the back broke off of this one (tho for a $20 chair it lasted much longer than I thought it would).

lol.......its a trip of a game. For instance, look at Siroc's icon. You have a "sanity" meter in this game, and thats what one of the normal portrait paintings looks like when your 'sanity' is low........just imagine what the rest of it will look like ;)

Yeah... *sigh* Welp, when the play-time comes I'll jsut have to put on my big-girl pants.

I still play BL sometimes... even tho I have beaten all of it at least 7 times.

its all about speed and never focus ont eh big picture (all around you), focus whast aroumd your character and whast comming, as its almsot like drivng a race car you concentrate on the the corner and se how to get around it as good as possible, and as all bullet hell games beginers shoudl try use the weapon or character with best sperad, the gat cirl has the strongetst and largest spread sadly she is also terribly slow, and not to meantion has the worst vocie acter, soudns like in the story mdoe they woke the person upp told em to read some words and that was it.
