Bartending for Fun (but no real profit)

I find it weird that bartending has become kinda like a hobby for me.
It pretty much started at home, mixing the occasional drink for special events or whatever (and I'm told I make a pretty good margarita), but this last Saturday, I got the chance to be a full-on bartender for a party my older brother was throwing. It was a Halloween party, reasonable seeing as how Halloween falls on a weekday this year, so most people were going to be there all night with no real worry about having to get up in the morning (which was pretty accurate, as it seems a few people decided to crash in my older brother's spare bedroom that night).
Honestly, it was surprisingly fun. I didn't have a whole lot of supplies, so it wasn't like I could do anything fancy, but when you've got a liter of cheap Vodka, Tequila, Rum, and Triple Sec, with some Sprite, Coke, and Mountain Due as chasers, and some orange juice, you still get people's attention (sold both shots and full mixed drinks). No blender to make margaritas, though, so that mix and flavoring didn't get used. Also got some liquor called Midori; it's melon flavored and I got it pretty much just for me, but other people seemed to like it. Someone also brought this huge tankard of an unholy mixture of Everclear and Crystal Lite flavoring (thankfully he let us sell it, like we were doing all the other drinks).
For a first time out, it was a pretty great run. We ran out of Vodka and cups by the end of it, but I think if we double-stocked everything, got a freezer that actually worked, more sodas, and a functioning blender, it'd be much more successful.
Actually telling people there's be drinks sold would probably be a good idea, too...
Also, as the title suggests, we didn't make enough to break even, but it was still fun.
