So, yeah. I've not really been here much XD

BUT! I have some news ... some updates!!



A little while ago I may or may not have mentioned that my eye was really sore and swollen.  kuurifuyutsuki did a little search online and we figured that I had a blocked tear duct. All you really have to do for that is massage it and it should unblock itself. I noticed it first when we were having a belated birthday dinner with his Grandparents and a friend. It only got worse. It got REALLY swollen and sore so he booked me in with the doctor asap. She reckoned it was an infected eyelash follicle. Ew XD. She had a try at plucking the eyelash she thought was having issues to try and relieve the infection. Nothing came out so she prescribed me some antibiotics and said to come back in 48 hours because infections around the eye are taken very seriously. Throughout the day my eye got a lot better, coincidence or not I was no longer having any trouble with it. I didn't take any antibiotics nor did I go back a second time. She told me that if it got better then I could cancel. It's fine now ... so I'm hoping that it just sorted itself out. I'm not experiencing anything out of the norm so ... let's just go with that :P

I also have some great news on the employment front! A small print/copy/design place I applied to at the start of the year told me that they may be getting work at the end of the year but a position would definitely be opening beginning of next year as one of their staff members is leaving the city. At that point I was the most qualified person to have applied -lol- so I went back to check up on the position. The lady who owns the business had penciled it into her Diary to call me at the start of November anyway for training! So soon I will be getting trained so I can commence working there when I get back at the start of next year! And until then?
A good friend put a word in where he works, a sign writer business, and I dropped a resume in the week before last. The owner is really nice, she asked me about my experience -which is none!- and when I could work. So ... I did 3 shifts last week and got my pay today! It's really hot work there, only the office is airconditioned, and it's pretty ordinary stuff but at the same time it's interesting to see how the signs I see every day are made! And it's nice to think that I would have helped make some! (Even though up until now all I've made is warning signs for Mines ... which will be blown up ;-;)
Plus, it's pretty easy money and the staff there are really friendly! It's really nice to be able to put some money away to save! :)

University is coming to a close, classes are over but there are still assignments due! I have two which are as of now overdue ... a photography portfolio and an Industry Research Report with Professional Case Studies ... AND a Digital Story due at the end of the week ;-;'
The Portfolio I just haven't been able to think up anything for ... at all ... until a couple of days ago, but the idea was too much to get done in a couple of days. And it's not just the photos, we have to do up an example of where the photos would appear (magazine, newspaper, book, advertisement etc) and do a 1500 word writeup! I'm not much of a photographer and struggled to write 500 words in the past about my photographs ... :S
And to top it all off ... I have no idea what story I am going to tell for my Digital Story XD

But I'll be FINE ...  kuurifuyutsuki is helping me out HEAPS and we got a lot of my Report done over the past few days!

Hmm ... I stopped half way through writing this to go to bed ... and now I can't remember what else I was going to say.


Ah well! If I remember it later then I'll update this Journal ... if not, it must have been a lie :P
