ATTENTION: Seeking a Home!
My current roommate is looking for work in the IT field by the end of the year, should he not find one, he will no longer be able to afford to live here, and I cannot foot the rent bill on my own. That being said. there is no real network of furs within Bridgeport, WV, and I can't afford a place on my own. That being said, I need help.
I have 45 days to find a new place to live. I'd prefer Pittsburgh or somewhere in Pennsylvania that has public transport and places to work (I work best in Customer service or in a call center environment). I'm honest, kind, and responsible. I have interests in tabletop Roleplaying and board games, paranormal thrillers and action/adventure movies, rock and 80s music, and PC RPGs and Sims.
I won't have a lot of money for the move, and it may take me a month or so to find a job, but I am saving up money for the move. I'm putting this out because without this, I am not sure if I'll have a place to live, and would prefer not to spend my first winter up north freezing in the snow. For the record, I can't move in with my parents. My father left when I was a child, and my Mother can't afford either the space or money for me to move back in (she's living in a single room herself).
If anyone knows of anyone looking for a roommate, or is willing to pass this journal along so that it gets spread, please help me out a bit here. I'm getting to the desperate state of things, and if I don't find something soon, I don't know what I will do. I don't want to be homeless. I have a job and everything.
Thank you.

i wish you lots of luck on this, i know it isn't easy!!
There are housing complexes that make deals like that for people without funds. There are also apartments that charge weekly bills of around 100-120. These places aren't generally...Nice, but its something if no one is willing to take you in. If a crackhead can afford 100 a week I'm sure you can find a way, ya?
I have no idea how things work where you live, but I think its safe to say they have things like that. Heres to hoping it doesn't come to that!
I spreads the word =D
Plenty of places for rent tho, and there seem to be Help Wanted signs in a lot of windows. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Actually, there's a call center in Fairmont that my mom works at. (She's in management there) I'm pretty sure they do inbound sales (like someone says, yes I'd like to buy something, and they go to you), but it's been a while since I've asked. I can recommend that place because of my mother working there.
But, you might be able to find something in Fairmont. There's less than there is here, but it may be a foot in the door. Best of luck, duders.
I was in Florida for three years and had an odd amount of difficulty finding work, a similar situation to people I know who have left the state. If I do move down to Florida, it'll take me some time to find work, so I'll need to do that first. If you find someone, it's no big deal. At this point, I have about five options so I'm covered in case my primary one falls through. (I should probably post a journal of thanks) So I appreciate your offer, and I may take you up on it if my other options fall through.
Anyway, as I said, I'm almost positive that should anything happen, we will still have a spot open. If you wish to discuss any further details with my bf, he's here on FA
