I ended up making a second FA account for gift art, but if it's not a huge number, I say go for it!

Hmmmmm. Personally I think it would be better just to provide links to the originals, rather than post said fanart into your own gallery; especially if you're only doing it give the artists that made the fanart free publicity.

If you're not careful, it could easily lead to the original artists getting jealous of the pics; especially if your version gets more faves and comments than the original, even though the two copies are the same.

So even though I won't say, "No, don't do that", especially seeing as how they were made for you as gifts and such, I'd highly recommend against it. Just to be on the safe side.

I say go for it.
