What sort of artist would you most identify yourself as?
I'm going to keep Squeedge's answer and go with illustrator. I used to say anime artist, but...I...don't know how much I could call my style anime anymore. Definitely has its roots in anime, true, but. Yeah. The more important part is that I like illlustrating things that happen between characters.
What would be your secondary identity?
I...dunno? Digital artist? Most of what I do now is digital. XD;
What forms of art do you dabble in, but don't excel at?
Uhhhhh. I dunno. I guess traditional, but I haven't even dabbled in that in a while. The most I've done lately is drawn some sketches.
How would you describe your 'style'?
Stylized realism? I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but, as of late, I like to include most things that exist in real life (even things like lips, fingernails, tear ducts, and body hair, which are pretty rare in styles like mine), just...simplifed and stylized.
What medium do you favor most?
DIGITAL FOR SURE. Ctrl+ z makes me feel comfortable enough to really go out on a limb and experiment, which is what I'd attribute my pretty rapid growth over the past couple years to. :D
What are your favorite subject matters?
Humans because, quite frankly, they're underappreciated (especially on FA). Most importantly, though, I like to draw the characters belonging to
Katherine and me, human or not.
What are your least favorite subject matters?
Uh, comparatively...anthros, actually. XD But I have some anthro characters, and of course I like them too. It's mostly that I just do stuff with my human characters more so far. I guess overall, I don't like drawing, like.........I don't know, actually. I'd say machinery, but that's just because I haven't yet. Uh. I guess I don't really like drawing sex or gore, but even those could have exceptions.
List your Artistic Strengths
What, am I supposed to just, like, bullet point what I think I'm good at? UH...
- Human-ish things.
- HAIR.
- Expressions.
- Slapping orange on everything.
- Soft shading, when I do it.
- Lineart thicknesses, again when I do it. (I rarely seriously ink, though, and I haven't played with line thicknesses much lately.)
List your Artistic Weaknesses
I...don't...know? I think it's more that I haven't yet tried certain things than that I'm inherently bad at them. I haven't messed around with perspective much, but that's quickly changing lately. |D Aw yeah. I guess I would be bad at photorealism...but, again, that's because I haven't devoted, like, any time ever to practicing that. OH, BUT I DON'T DRAW BACKGROUNDS OFTEN ENOUGH. I think I'm okay at them when I do draw them, though.
Which of the above weaknesses would you most like to see improve?
Backgrounds and perspective, so I can do more scenes. Then again, throwing a detailed background onto every picture I ever draw would be really...tedious. And I only just started practicing with extreme perspective.
Adult Content. . . yes/no?
ONLY YES IF IT INVOLVES THESE TWO PEOPLE. (Otherwise...no. I don't mind seeing it around, but I don't really want to draw it myself. I'm demisexual -- sort of a subset of asexuality, I guess? -- which means I have to have an extreme emotional connection with something in order to find it sexually...interesting. I can appreciate other people's sexual art to a degree, but I don't really want to draw that stuff much myself.)
Adult Subject Matter you favor?
THE AFOREMENTIONED ADRIMASEX. C: (...Which you guys never get to see because I won't post that in public.)
Schooling/Training received in the arts?
I've had a few art classes at college, but...most of what I've learned has been self-taught. I don't think I've suffered from that, though. I've come a long way in...what, four years of more serious art? (I've been drawing more like seven years total, but some of that doesn't really count because I only drew occasionally. And I didn't make as many conscious artistic decisions.)
Schooling/Training you'd still like to have?
I really liked JMU's figure drawing class professor, but...I don't know if I'll ever end up taking that class to completion. Probably not.
Would you consider yourself prolific, or a 'quality over quantity' sort of artist?
Uh, well, I actually don't really know how to half-ass the actual drawing of things. But I do like to draw a lot, because drawing a lot of random sketches will actually end up making you improve. I GUESS A MIX.
Would you considering yourself a Fine Artist, or a Commercial Artist?
I won't lie, I had to look this up to be sure. I don't know, I...like the visual look of a lot of commerical art (graphic-y looking things and even a lot of labels on products), but...there's no product I'm really producing art for, so I can't say I do it myself. I guess a fine artist, but...I...don't like how a lot of that looks, or how stuffy and elitist a lot of ~fine artists~ tend to be.
Where would you like to be in five years?
Hopefully making money from art (at least from commissions, if I can figure out a good way to self-regulate working and stuff). Artistically, I...won't really guess. I'll just trust myself. It's worked so far. :D

FA+

Ahaha, yeah I found the "fine artist or commercial artist" question kind of restrictive. I mean there are so many types of art/modern day moments/etc, and "fine art " is almost like, a loaded term at this point. Especially if you've ever been among art snobs, and I know you've had your fair share of that at JMU :|
AND I FUCKING LOVE PEOPLE AND HAIR. SO YAY~
Yeeeeah. I was like...I dunno. It is pretty restrictive, and I honestly don't know many people here on FA who do the kind of art I like who would ever like to call themselves a "fine artist", however talented they are. :| It is kind of a loaded term that makes people think of snobs now.
I like expressions. ;~;
And also, ADRIMASEX IS THE ONLY MURR YOU SHALL EVER TOUCH, YOUNG MAN. OR ELSE.
I also guess I didn't think you'd want KOFFING PORN on the Internet. >:C
FAUX ANGRY FACE
FAUX INSULTED.
I don't know how that excuses me, but you are Voltron and so is he.
OR I guess it is.
And I AM OKAY WITH THIS. Oh wait yeah there's Katherine too.
