Hey guys, remember this journal?
Let me refresh your memory: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in January, I wrote a story for submission to Heat magazine, issue #9. As is their way, they didn't start reviewing submissions to issue 9 until after they had successfully published and distributed issue 8, which happened this summer. And a couple of weeks ago, I finally got an email from them telling me... that they had turned down the story.
Oh well. These things happen, and I'm told it's a really good thing that they included a critique of what they didn't like about the story, as opposed to just sending me a generic form letter to turn me down. So that makes me feel a bit better.
In any event, since I'm no longer required to keep the story out of the public eye, I can finally post it so you fine people can enjoy it. It's called "His Big Little Bitch" and you can find it here.
I've put it in scraps because I wrote it almost a year ago, and I like to think I've improved since then, even if it's just a wee little bit. u_u
In any event, I hope you like the story, and now I'll get back to working on the shiny new stories in my Word window.

I kept the email, even though my immediate instinct was to childishly delete it and then say bad things about them. Glad I did, since it's always nice to have advice.
