Iz goin to a Furcon this year ... YAY ME!

Great news fur me ... I decided that I would take whatmy teacher always say, and I registered for the Memphit Furmeet on Labor day weekend of this year!
My teacher always said "Unless you jump in, head first into the cold deep water of life, then you will never amount to anything, nor will you do anything exciting"
I'm Nervous, and Have no fucking clue what to do or how to prepare for it, but all I know is I *want* to go, and that I'm registered for it.
I don't know any furs IRL thats near me, and the only fur I know personally lives in fuckin' England.
Memphis is about 500 or so miles away from me, and When I drove out to Texas with my mom when I was 17, We left home around 2am, and got to Texarkana around 2pm, So I suppose Traveling around 65-68MPH, for ~500 miles ... will take 6-7 hours of driving? I dunno, I suck at math.
I haven't made any hotel/motel reservations yet, but when I get down there, If I cant find a motel, then I can always sleep in my car ... I keep some blankets and a couple pillows in teh trunk ... mostly because im too damn lazy to clean it out ... but still, I'll do what I can when the time comes.
At least I'll have my car, so I can be able to get out and drive around, I'm sure my fear of being around a large amount of people will kick in, and a lil driving around a city always helps to calm me down.
