Hello again.
So since I’ve gotten my car, a week ago or so it broke down. I was so pissed. I spent all of my hard earned money on a car of my own and it breaks. Turns out it was the crank sensor and it was a $300 repair including tow.
So yeah, that happened.
For Halloween my two friends and I went to C-ville and hung out at the pedestrian mall. We parked kinda far away because it was free but we had no idea that it was a little hike down there. Well turns out I forgot my wallet so jasmine and I headed back, we got in the car and we decided to move it closer as long as we’re at it. Note that I don’t like, nor am I good at driving in confusing city roads, four lanes of traffic, odd/nonconforming traffic patterns, etc. So we turned out of the parking complex and I could barely see around the corner to see if anyone was coming, I thought I was clear so I turned in to the lane, I barely missed hitting two cars, thought I was okay, nearly avoided two more cars and by the time I looked up, I noticed I passed though a red traffic light. I was too concerned with avoiding the other cars I wasn’t paying attention to the light. And guess what? Low and behold of course there was a cop behind me, flashing his lights. All I could think of is oh shit, I really don’t need this now. It was an accident, I didn’t mean to go through the light, it was a miracle I didn’t hit anyone or let them hit me.
So I find a safe place to pull over, we go through the shebang, he goes back in his car and he takes forever, meanwhile the tension is chewing through my body like bears. I could tell he wanted to let me off but I ended up getting a ticket, he didn’t give me a wreckless though, but I got written up for disobeying a traffic signal. I still haven’t told my parents about it, things have been tense here at home lately. It could have been so much worse. So much worse. But I’m alive, my friend is alive, we didn’t get hurt, I didn’t hurt anyone else, and my car is undamaged. Things turned out okay.
By the time we got back to the tea house, I felt god awful. I didn’t want to drive anymore and I just wanted to be home. I did my best to shake it off and finish having a good time with my friends. But overall Halloween night was fun. I think my favorite part was walking to the mall in fursuit for the first time, seeing and hearing everyone’s reactions. I will have to post some pictures of my costume soon. I didn’t take the camera with me that night so I didn’t get many pictures. I’ll go into some of the stories in the descriptions.
So yeah I am planning on getting a camera of my own, after I pay off my ticket. I still don’t know how much it is, and I’m not going to court to pay it off. My friend told me they tack on extra fees from coming to court. So yeah if you guys have any advice about tickets, let me hear them. I’m scared.
So that’s about it for now. I’ll fill you guys in on more stuff later, I have to go to work soon. The next few days are pretty much going to be
Get up, go to work, come home, eat sleep repeat.
The last week has been really hard because I’ve been pushing myself really hard. They’ve suckered me into coming in on my day off and coming in early. Why does it feel like I am always filling in for their mistakes?
