Eh... I think it's really good having a constant, stand-alone mascot for all time. If we changed the mascot it'd make me feel old LOL
And a lot of people really really hate colourful colour schemes - a more neutral one is the easiest way around this. But yeah, I know I'm not a good one to talk here but maybe some markings that aren't just a generic mashup of the two species?
I don't think it NEEDS CHANGING though. I don't really like change. ;.;

I love Fender and Rednef, but even if I didn't I would be completely content with them, because it is certainly not my position to be demanding or even suggesting a change from the "powers that be".

I never give either the mascots or the banners much attention since they do not effect what I am here to do nor what I hope to do and try to do on this site.

Why change? Of course mascots get old...they're mascots. When you see them you automatically think "Oh, it represents website/sport team/school". Sure, Fender isn't exactly the most exciting character, but he's non-offensive and immediately brings "FA" to mind for those who know FA. That's the point of a mascot, haha. Changing it would make it harder for people to identify.

I've been on FA since 2008 on several different accounts, and Fender's never bothered me. x3

Though have you actually seen the Fender Mascot at cons. Considering it's very impressive. Though since this is FA.... Not going to happen.
