Sora contacted me via Skype today with some issues she's having with her computer. This is what she told me is happening.
I'm doing a full scan with Norton, if nothing occurs, I'll try a different anti-stuff program. All browsers are crashing as well as their extensions, and the internet is connected however I cannot load any data on anything. Furthermore, the computer crashes constantly and refuses to come out of sleep mode at points. If an administrator box appears, it greys out and CTRL+ALT+DEL blackscreens, dis-allowing me from doing anything. The only way to resolve that is to do a hard restart by tapping the powerbutton, but if I manage to stop the hard restart which is difficult, the computer is still unresponsive. If it does restart, the computer is fine until the next freakout.

I can provide you a remote assistance support if those steps don't help you. Just send me a note to combine the time.
Never had any problems with those two alone.
Symantec's products are way better than its Norton subsidiary.
However I don't use those anymore. I switched to Panda Cloud Security. My comp still feels like crap, but at least it runs a lot smoother now, and with less lag.
If more advance, try going to safe mod and let Vista repair you system in the Control Panel.(Mostly Win7 has it.)

If all else fails, back up your data and create a new user acount. Move the data into that one, and delete the old one.
Hmmm..... Check task manager? Right click task bar > Task Manager How much CPU and Ram is it using? If the CPU spikes about and you have an exesive ammount of ram usage.... Try to track down the process in the "Processes" tab.... Scroll down the (Probably huge) list of processes, right besides their name they will tell you how much CPU and ram they're using.
What's the process name? And then I shall be able to help.
