...and im about the sell it...
Why? Because all the games are FPS's, and if i havent mentioned earlier i loathe those kind of games. Mass effect was interesting but i got spoiled most of the plot...
Assasins greed is shit.
DMC4 is also coming to PS3 (wich im gonna get sooner or later).
so is there anyreason for me to keep it? i havent been checking much of the gaming news so i dont know much of what games are coming to it...
And dont even mention Halo or the live... dont...
I wonder why i even bought... i know this was gonna happen x3
this, or the feared RRoD...

Seriously, I'd say bring it back to the store and get a Wii or PS3.
If I had the cash, I'd probably be doing the same. It may be starting slow, but the PS3 has and will have some fantastic games. Also, if you get one that is backwards compatible, you're buying a PSOne, PS2 and BluRay Player as well.
At least it's better than the oversided doorstop you currently have.
The 360 is good for shooter fans... at least ones who like their HALOZZZ!!!1one2. Mind you, the trend of playing for a little, then waiting forever to get it fixed from it's frequent Red Rings of Death is pretty sad. Considering the high failure rate, it's a suprise people still want this piece of plastic crap.
And anyone with a 360 will tell you how bad the backwards compatability is :S
but yeah Halo Rocks! :D
As for Halo... I wouldn't bank on getting a 360 for it. If you wanted more quality shooters, Bioshock for single player, Unreal 3 for multiplayer and CoD4 for the best all-rounder available. That's assuming you're a hardcore shooter. If you're more interested in Halo's "FPS for dummies" accessibility, then sure... why not?
I've heard rabid Xbox/PS3 fanboys argue "But it also has a HDDVD/Bluray player!" Well, thats great, but since console manufacturers have never gotten integrated movie players to work on past consoles correctly it makes me worry if they are not going to have the same problems with future systems. Besides, I'd never buy a console for its "integrated features". The only reason I'd buy a console is for the games it has. If I want to watch HDDVD/Bluray I'll buy the appropriate HDDVD/Bluray player thats specifically designed to handle those formats.
This also brings the question. Since they've integrated these movie formats into their consoles it has driven the cost of these consoles up even more. $300-$400?! Holy crap! I can upgrade my computer for that much and it will perform even better any console!
So yeah, I kinda went off track. Anyway, I'm buying a Wii as soon as Super Smash Brothers Brawl comes out in March. At least with Nintendo I know that thing will never break. They make their consoles nearly indestructible! Hell, I still have my Super Nintendo from 1996 and it still works after much abuse.
nope
I hated Mass Effect, just brought the rental back to Hastings today. XD
Halo sucks balls, etc.
Uhm, I can't say much else. Enchanted Arms was fun when I had it. Uh, otherwise either wait it out, or try and get something more fun. XD
i play Gears of war alot, that might sound good... right?
anyways, there are better games comming out soon and i just reserved fuel of war & Turok for the 360, those are ok titles.
then the rest are crap...
Uh...huh?
Trust me, the PS3 aint worth the money.
It offers one thing the xbox360 does'nt.
Nostalgic trails.
Sell the 360 and go buy some kswiss.
Or, like i did, buy an Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Nes, Super NES.... lots of stuff :P
Just splurge on old school.
Screw Next gen!!
the best fantasy game i have ever played, the story line is enticing and the action is great.
and the graphics are soooooo good that i spent hours on my way to the next town stopping to randomly stare at the sky, trees and just about anything else
i detest FPS's too but in Oblivion you can go to a general 3rd person camera view if needed and jump to 1st person when needed (you know for like looting/hard fights/aiming/etc.)
Swords beat guns any day.
oh and best of all you can be evil, MUHAHAHA ^o^
(and the expansions are great fun too, well after you spend 100's of hours completing the original content, it is good to know there are 100's of more hours to be played.)
and if you still get rid of the X-box 360 at least get it for the pc, it is definitely worth it
p.s. get the guide book too, it really helps in all of those "where the hell is *insert name/place/thing here* moments" ^_^

Oh, and Rez HD comes out on Wednesday.
Aside from that, enjoy your shootan games |3
I just came into possession of a 360 myself. I really like it, and the online thing is sweet, but yeah, it desperately needs more game variety. In the meantime, it is my Rock Band machine, rofl.
For example, my friend is a photographer that uses a digital camrea. Well, the PS3 is a very handy storage device for photos; not to mention videos, music, Blu-Ray player, and demos. Since Sony is his favorite company, he has a PSP as well, which can hook up to the PS3 for all sorts of cool features. Oh and he has a lot of PS2 games he still likes to play, so there's the backwards compatability too. Some of the features like the internet browser really aren't that great, though... even if you have a mouse and keyboard, everything loads a lot slower. Another little thing is being able to have customisable backgrounds, icons, etc. If you've ever seen what a PSP screen looks like, with the menu, it's basically just that.
So, from my experience, the PS3 is actually a very good system. It's just lacking in games and has an engorged price-tag. These two things are very important, of course.. especially if the only thing you want to use your console for is playing games. If you just want to play games casually, then the 360 is definitely a better choice. And it has X-box Live, and all.. but the PS3 online seemed decent enough to me, anyways. Plus the PS3 has some neat, social games coming out like LittleBigPlanet and Home (Which is free) that seem to be a lot more focused on community and making friends than anything I've seen on the 360 yet...
I could go on about all the good stuff the 360 has, but I'm sure you've heard it before. I just want to express that the PS3 isn't a piece of crap like a lot of people say. :(
This is why i have ignored them and stuck with my PC, World of Warcraft is all the game i can be arsed with right now, till smash bros of course :P
xbox360 is boredom , its only FPS and sport game .
no good rpg !
buy a ps2 , many many many good game can be found :3
also, a NICE RPG called mass effect. it *IS* a third person shooter, but the games focus is mostly on team tactics, tech abilities, and stats.
i also reccomend older Xbox games like Fable and Crimson Skies. and fable 2 has been announced for 360. - if you want party games, try Fusion Frenzy 1 or 2. oldies but goodies.
and finally: assasins creed. great game.
on the other hand, wii has a lot of good classic gaming and new gaming alike. mario galaxy, no more heroes is very good, and with brawl around the corner, moar woot.
