The guy who came to lay out my internet wires did exactly what I feared would happen -- laying my lines so close to my neighbor's, he managed to drive a tack right through hers and cut off her phone signal.

Or something.
Either way, since I have internet, she doesn't have a phone anymore. After she used my cellphone to call Bell, they sent a technician to fix it tonight, and I "supervised" him, because if he screwed up my line fixing hers, it would cost ME 100$ to get another technician here.

Thankfully, shit didn't go down twice. Her signal's back in, and I'm typing this. Hoo-rah!
Also, she called my cellphone to check if the connection was working and had a good laugh hearing my ringer for the first time. Good ol' Super Mario Bros 1 themesong, Dee-dee dee deedee deeee deee ~

Well that's settled. Guy also told me to go get my cellphone checked if it overheats when using it for the internet, as it's not normal o_o;

OH WELL.
Time to heat up some pizza again, I need to finish those leftovers.
