Mom leaving hospital
Well, unexpectedly the date of my mom being discharged from the hospital was moved up by a day, so we have to be up early tomorrow-morning to pick her up, and then take her to the physical rehabilitation centre.
We don't know anything else yet (how long it will take, the technicalities of prosthetics, if our current house can be adapted so we don't have to move), but at least it's another step ahead :)

But I hope she can get the prosthetic as soon as its feasible. I don't think she knows me but either way send her my regards, she is in my thoughts!
*big hugs and much <3*
She's grateful for the well wishes, and she does know who you are (from the London trip pics mostly ;)) so she actually knows who they're coming from. We're hoping she'll progress to prosthetics soon, too, but for now it's mostly waiting game on that. Still, she's already progressed a lot already so who knows? :)
And out of curiosity why does she need to wait for a prosthetic, is it mostly for healing and rehabilitation?
I must admit that none of us new that before...well...now. I actually thought learning to walk with it was the main issue, but that's just another step. Preparation for one also takes a crapload of time and effort.
She's looking forward to that, she hopes you don't mind too much wonky English, though ;D
