O.=.o wow this is extremely ironic, i just recently bought myself a medium bamboo fun (pretty nice tablet) and for the longest wile i had a Wacom Graphire 4 (4x5) and they are the best as far as im concerned, that model is rugged as far as tablets go, it just feels sturdy adn strong, and i have never had any problems with them....when i got it it set me back $170 (well spent imo) but now you can get em for like $120-140 (Canadian)

Straight out, go for Wacom tablets, cause everything else ya just seem to be shooting yourself in teh foot, sure Wacoms are a tad mroe pricey but you get real quality with them adn 0 need for batteries.

It acually just so happens that the Bamboo Fun Medium was one of the tablets I was kinda leaning towards. I looked at the site for a local shop and it said they have a Canadian only black one for about $197.

black is a nice color, its the color i got XD and thats a nice price for that tablet, i'd go for it, mines seems pretty good so far, i like it. its a good size and is a very sleek design, the use of the pen on the tablet has this more rough yet smooth paper feel (unlike other plastic top tablets where your pen feels slippery on it)
