It seems I've been away.

Not that I ever do anything particularly important... I guess I lost interest in FA for a while... probably right before I drove across the country at the end of summer to go to college here in California. (I started in Illinois)
But anyway, at least for now, I'm back. I've been more distracted by tumblr recently, which I've been playing with for... at least 3 weeks, maybe more. I feel totally disinclined to play video games, but I play BF3 on my friend's origin account, and it's fun most of the time. Orcs Must Die is also awesome, working on a second play through. I need to pre order Star Wars The Old Republic and get my own copy of BF3. And Skyrim? Whatever, not particularly interested. I guess Minecraft is officially released in 7 days? Cool, maybe I'll start playing that again, too. And, oh, don't forget the multiple Humble Indie Bundles which I haven't even finished yet. Damn, plus Dead Island which I got and promptly got bored with, not as fun as Left For Dead 2. Halo CE Anniversary in what... 4 or 5 days? Oh well, lots of games, and too much homework to do anything with.
Two new books, too, Halo Glasslands and House of Holes. The former is the first of the Post-War books after the events of the Halo and the war with the Covenant. It's good, writing is a bit hard to follow and erroneous at times, but otherwise good.
House of Holes, on the other hand, I will never understand how made it onto the NYT Book Review. Maybe it didn't and I'm delusional. For everyone's sake I hope I am. It's a book about a bunch of people who get, essentially, teleported to this "House of Holes" where they fulfill those people's sexual fantasies. First, "peckerdickcock" is not a word and never will be. I'm all for creative writing, but creative does not encompass the creation of purposeless words comprised of the same word in three different ways. Damnit, I hate that. I mean, my eRP writing standard is more creative and more colorful, jeez.
But that's enough for now, not that I have anything better to do....
