This has been a long-standing issue I've had with the site design. The only place it showed who posted the journal you're seeing is in the title bar, and in modern browsers the title is given 2 inches of space(I measured) so you have to hover over the tab to see who posted it. The only other indication was the avatar, which often features something you don't relate to the person like a screenshot from their favorite non-furry show that they don't talk about or something. And Heaven forbid that they change their icon.
This is why I put my name and username in the header of my journals. Of course, my avatar is always of Kenny, and you all read my comic so you know it's from me, but I felt my name still needed to be shown nonetheless.

Of course there's often bad news that comes with good news, and that news is that "apple" has been removed from the species list.
