Well, I certainly like League of Legends. It's fun game, DOTA-style. If you never played such a game before - beware! It is really fun and everything. There is only one problem - it's not a game for casual gamers. A lot of people there diss on others, sometimes even without certain reason... but anyway, if you have 2 or 4 other friends who play (for 3vs3 or 5vs5 gameplay) it can be a real time killer.
The game mainly is a variation on "capture the base" gameplay. You play in a team of 3 or 5 as I previously stated and go for enemy base (which is called Nexus). When you are going for it - you need to pass by the towers and your enemy team. The game is similar to RTS gameplay (such as Warcraft, Starcraft, Command&Conquer) but you play only as the hero. The game is won when you or someone from your team destroys the target.
As the game has no "story mode" inside but has beautifully written background story and fun characters it is great material for fan fics and fan arts. I decided to create "League of Ponies" series which will contain some art on those characters. I have planned even some sequences on that topic. Please do watch me for more :)
