Beautiful Willow
Cresting the lighted night sky
Dancing to the wind
So, judging from the fact my computer died on me a few days after submitting Dawn's Last Morning, which was submitted a little over a month ago, I'd say it's safe to say I've been without a computer for over a month, if not at least one. I had been having issues with it since the cpu was friend (never again will I let someone use it -_-) and one day just plain refused to boot. Now I have a new one, I shall not make the same mistake again. What this means is:
1. I do not have a music studio; that needs to be re-installed for the 100th time.
2. I will most likely be installing windows 7 ultimate, so until then no music studio.
3. Please forgive me if you felt I gave you the cold shoulder for my abscence.
4. Expect favs, comments, etc tomorrow.
Heeeeeey.... y'know, I was just thinking that I do join.me so I can screen share and people can watch me draw. But you know what? I just thought that you could probably do the same thing and teach people how to mix music like you do! One of my roommates would be really interested in that. lol
Just a thought. I mean, you're gonna do the work anyway. : 3
1. Any person watching would see the exact pattern and the effect(s) and velocity edits used on the individual tracks; taking into consideration that the song, while being worked on, is not copyrighted via the us copyright office meaning I could have a song stolen quite easily from me, and that would hurt me very bad. Then again I could just be a little paranoid.
2. I don't see what would be intersting in watching me work on the piano roll or the EQ or what not.
I will say this though! In most cases, as in like 99.9% of my songs, I start out in pattern mode and get a drum beat, intro pad(s)/lead(s) going, then switch it over to song mode, split the tracts, and go from there. Of course if your roommate would be interested in that, I could do a segment of me working, but definitely not the entire song.
And more music is on the way, that I can assure you~
