Dear Furries~
I've been pricing out materials and checking out fabric.When I went to JoAnn's I loaded up on foam and when I went to have it cut the woman working there advised me to come back when I had a coupon or when it was on sale. Isn't that so nice!!
When it comes to the fabric I'd appreciate a little help though...
For Squeaki's skin should I used a crushed velvet fabric, small cord- courdoroy, or fur and just shave it real short. I'm definately leaning towards the crushed but if anyone knows a better fabric that's a little less gay I'd much appreciate the help!!

Personally, I don't like the crushed velvet look. It has a strange shine to it and it always looks ruffled. The link you showed is very pretty (And that back view kinda reminds me of a Mantatee!) so maybe it could work. But, I want to suggest really short pile fur. Overall, you'd look much more cuddly. |3
But that is only my opinion, if your heart is with the velvet, then go for it!
