New meaning to the word Shameless.

So I was in my Criminal Law class today, the last one on my schedule, and there's this one student in class that brings a whole new definition to the meaning of underachiever. He's missed roughly 75% of the class lectures, he's late whenever he does decide to show up (which is usually only on test days), and he never turns in any of the assigned homework.
Today our term papers were due (and I asked her to grade mine early since I had time to kill; she gave me an A), and of course, he didn't have one to turn in. So when everyone got in line to turn in our papers, he was the only one that stayed sitting down, watching the rest of us turn in our work. The class resumed as usual, and before long it was over. As I was packing my bag (I have a LOT of books, so it takes a good 4 or 5 minutes to get my bag properly organized to carry), the guy went up to the front desk and struck up a conversation with the professor. And what he said was so incredibly shameless and self-centered that my table peers and I couldn't help but burst out laughing (although he didn't realize we were laughing at him).
He was asking the professor to give him a passing grade so he wouldn't have to retake this class.
He didn't turn in ANY of the homework, he was almost never present for lectures so unless he did a lot of studying (which I doubt), his test grades were probably astoundingly low, and the few times he was there he never participated in class or group discussions, he just sat there staring at the ceiling, half-asleep. And here he was, asking the professor to give him a C.
We couldn't help it; it was just so funny. And the professor shot us a dirty look while it was happening, which we didn't mind since we WERE out of line. But if I see him again, I plan on giving him a little lecture of my own. I even rehearsed it on the way home in my mind.
"Hey, if you want to get through a class with a passing grade, show up to class, do the homework, and participate in class activities like the rest of us. If you can't do that, tough shit, you don't get passed just because you beg for it. You're an adult, take some fucking responsibility for yourself and learn from this."
If I do end up seeing him, I wonder what his reaction will be.
