General
just wondering because my brother is turning to me, someone who cant build a decent deck, to make a mono white angel deck for him.
someone just shoot me. Im having enough issues transitioning my Mono black zombie deck into a black/blue zombie deck.
Tips would be awesome.
Oh, im throwing in his sword of feast and famine in there. How he got that, i dont know

My favorite white card is Harm's Way. It's a one-drop and allows for a quick turn in the wheel of fortune.
Also, guides online are always a big help.
as for what he has that is of use
Sword of Feast and Famine
Victory's Herald
Aeigis Angel (jap)
Shattered Angel
Serra Angel
As for his stratagy
He's either going to play one of two ways
He going to be defensive via spells and healing
or hes going to try to do what he did in yugioh. Use spells and abilities to drain life.
to be honest. I think he either needs to run an infect deck, White/Blue angels and spirits or a mono white with humans
And yes, guides do help
This article has an explanation of the five colors put very succinctly, but I think it requires Flash: http://www.wizards.com/magic/multiv.....px?color=white
As for his specific strategy, I think mono white with humans is the best way to go. It will give him more to work with early on, and a lot of small hitters will be devastating with victory's herald.
Feel free to send me notes with other questions, or ask on here. I love talking about MTG.
I would, however, like you to take a look at a deck list i have made for a friend
Main board
2x Kessig Wolf
2x Darkthicket wolf
2x Feral Ridgewolf
2 Kessig Cagebreakers
2x Kurin outlaw
2x mayor of avabruck
2x Instigators gang
2x Daybreak Ranger
4x shock
4x naturalize
1x parallel lives
2x bramblecrush
3x brimstone volley
2x arc trail
2x moonmist
3x lightning bolt
10x forest
10x mountain
2x kessig wolf run
2x copperline gorge
Side Board
4x gnaw to the bone
2x ancient grudge
2x furor of the bitten
1x full moon rise
1x blastphomist act
3x concussive bolt
2x fissure vent
Im worried about the side board and a little bit about the ratio of creatures to spells in the main.
This seems like a very aggressive deck, one that seeks to overwhelm with powerful monsters quickly, yes? How do you like to play it?
*I'm curious about parallel lives. Parallel Lives only combos with 4 cards in your deck, so it won't come out that often. I would sideboard it and substitute Full Moon's Rise. It will still help you get damage through, and you can save your wolves in a pinch if you need to.
*You don't have enough artifacts to get Concussive Bolt's Metalcraft effect. Drop it for Lava Axe (same cost, more damage).
*I wouldn't worry too much about the monster ratio, unless your friend really notices it during play. Wolves are stronger in packs (see instigator gang and kruin outlaw), so you'll need plenty.
This seems to me like a very well put together deck. How long have you been playing?
But thats how I play. Kill kill kill then let my zombies eat you up. I dont know how well he will like that syle.
I have been playing for 4 months. I put this together after getting a push in the right direction
The artifacts im lookin at are
Butchers cleaver, sharpened pitchfork, blazing torch, silver inlaid dagger, sword of feast and famine, maybe Trepanation Blade.
Oh, if you want to continue with this and want to take it to notes, just let me know
Metalcraft is a great mechanic, one of my favorites, but unless you have LOTS of artifacts (as in, most of your deck), you'll often find that you can't get the effect for it.
I dont know why im having issues with this......
