I am not meaning this to offend anyone, so let me say that first. I know that some of you are christian and I have some very nice christian friends that are respectful and good people, and know how to shut up about it. I haven't had ANY problems like this in this community yet, so just want to say thank you for that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am simply venting about some stupid crap I have had to endure time and again.


This is more referring to Christian zealots and something I JUST had to deal with today, which wasn't the first time.

Why, more than any other religion, must Christians feel the need to throw their beliefs in your face? They are cruel to gays, Jews, and just about anything outside their strange smelling little soap box.
Why does it seem that Christians are the ONLY people who feel the need to spout their beliefs in your face, especially the most unexpected, and inopportune times, like during a paypal business transaction? You would think some things are safe from religion, but no. I happened to find a crazy lady who used the notes of her invoice as her personal soapbox to teach me about Satan.. I'm glad she knows so much about him, because she will probably go visit him soon. It really is surprising to find out there are some REALLY crazy and horrible people out there.

I was simply trying to buy a stuffed Tyco Kitty Kitty Kitten for my little sister, that looked JUST like the one that was destroyed by a mean ex friend of my brother's when they were little. I have been searching for this same cat for years as a surprise gift for my sister, and now that her boyfriend broke up with her it seems like perfect timing that some lady FINALLY replied to my add on a lost toys forum.

Then it all seemed fine, but she emailed me and at first I thought not much of it, but it should have been a red flag when she asked me, "Are you a believer" I figured that maybe she just meant, "it was meant to be" that I had searched so long and she had the kitty, and she was JUST deciding to sell some things, etc. So I simply said, "Well I believe in god and am Jewish if that is what you mean."

Then she sent me next this entire BOOK long email about her life, and a TON of christian stuff thrown in as if to tell me that it was the right way to believe. OMG was I in for it.. I TRIED to read through almost all of it, but it was so long, and it was such a waste of my precious commission time, and a lot of it didn't make sense because she kept speaking in code, about some "Hobby" she had that ruined her life that she no longer has, etc. So I didn't know how to respond so I simply didn't. I had already told her that I would not be able to pay for the stuffed cat until this week, and she had told me that was fine. She decided to sent an invoice anyways, and told me to pay it when I could there was no rush. So I waited and then RIGHT before I was to get paid she canceled the invoice.

THEN I saw a forwarded message to me from a message she has sent someone else bad mouthing me about how I didn't respond to her long email, AND proving that she has gone onto my FB and stalked me and looked at a picture of my boyfriend and my brother and proceeded to say how I didnt' seem like a "real Person" ACTUALLY here is the exact message she wrote:

"This is what she responded to last night.
Note: She never replied to the testimony on the invoice last week when it was sent NOR
did she respond in any way to that long email explaining why I am who I am.

Just that she & her brother can pay the FULL amount.

Also it even occurred to me that this could even be her doofus boyfriend & brother USING
her and her sister's ID to SCAM. Like Brian Necker.
There was a photo of her bf and brother and she had wrote they were her 2 favorite people!
EVEN NINA said last night that the bf & brother looked crazy."

First of all Doofus? Really? What a stupid old and pathetic insult. What did they ever do to her? They had nothing to do with this. It is fine to say what you want to me, but once someone bad mouths my family they have crossed the line, and should prepare to face the full wrath of me.

I actually responded to this and went off on her about how rude she was, and how I was INDEED a real person and she has no right to bad mouth my family. Then she sent me another invoice to still buy the cat, but in the invoice notes were a bunch more stupid christian quotes, and garbage I don't care to read. SO, basically, I finished the transaction like this:

"You may cancel your invoice again. I have already reported you for bringing religious and abusive banter into a business transaction. Hopefully paypal will deal with you accordingly. I never did anything wrong to you, and you have proceeded to slander my family who have had NOTHING to do with our business dealings, as well as write nasty remarks to me. Say what you want to my face, but when you start speaking about people I love, you cross the line. I will never buy anything from you, and I will see to it that others know of your horrible rudeness, and that you are a horrible person to buy from. You had no business spouting your religious dogma at me, when all I wanted to do was buy a stuffed cat for my sister. It is also deeply inappropriate to use an invoice as your personal soapbox forum to spout even MORE bible versus. I don't care what you believe, it has nothing to do with me. You say you are a christian, but you behave as someone working for the devil, sitting atop your high horse and looking down on others. ESPECIALLY making fun of someone with a disability, like my brother. For shame. It's so nice that you believe in hell, because with behavior like that, you probably will go there. Have a nice sad life. I want nothing more to do with people like you."

I am seriously so sick of crap like this. I should not even have had to deal with such a stupid pathetic situation over a small stuffed cat I wanted to by for my sister, whose bf broke-up with her. People like Lynn Black make me sick. I am proud to be Jewish, but I don't go around telling everyone else that that is how they have to live, or what they should believe. Eventually everyone will die, and figure out one way or the other, just live with kindness, openness, forgiveness, and love in your heart and life will be fine. Anything else keep to yourself.

Good thing I am confident enough in myself to stand my ground. It is a fight us Jews will have to endure until the ends of time no doubt. Its not like this is a new struggle for us. Just helps to remind me of where I come from, and how much we have fought to be who we are. Guess we will always have to fight that battle.
