All art uploaded, and belated Rainfurrest update
14 years ago
Thanks for all those patient enough to deal with my massive art flood as I got everything back up and running on my gallery, you're awesome! Another big shout out goes to all the new watchers during that time. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get to all of you, but it's much appreciated! :)
I'll be finishing up a couple commissions here before I start working and posting some upcoming projects, so stay tuned.
Posted a month and a half late, Rainfurrest 2011 was a success! This was my 2nd convention running a table in the dealer's room, and I had so much fun meeting up with so many familiar faces and seeing some new ones stop by my table. I was slammed with a pretty bad flu for the Friday and Saturday, so most of you wouldn't have seen me in my usual chipper self. Thanks to all those who bought some of the larger prints off my table, mainly Anthro-fox, Sunspot, and Nuwisha55 to name a few off my head. Almost all of my smaller prints got sold, surprisingly, and I must've done a bit over 50 badges/sketches/inks/etc over the course of three days. It was pretty taxing, and I spent many late nights in MongooseInk, Balto and Xyk's room finishing them all, but was glad I could get out on the dancefloor Saturday night till 4 in the morning and listen to all the talented DJ's mixes. Staying till the wee hours of the morning to hear Akonite play was thrilling.
And in no particular order...
chipfox - You are a total sweetheart for organizing the room for us. I'm so glad you were able to stay for Sunday!
maneater - Thanks for sharing my table with me, you were great at keeping me entertained, at least with all the silly commissions you were getting on your end of the table ;)
quickxyk - For being my part time table runner, dance partner, taquitos supplier, table grid shipper, entertaining coyote-face. Seriously, you rock so much!
mongooseink - It was great putting a face to your name! Thanks for letting me spam your markers and keeping me entertained with the IT Crowd in your room. I can't believe I found someone who can stand spicier food then I!
balto - Your sense of humor is funnyyy! Just keep being your awesome self mister :)
anthrofox - For buying the large "Seeds of Creation" picture. I can't wait to see a photo of it on the rest of your 'wall of awesome art'
sunspot - For buying the adorable marshmallow fox painting!
nuwisha55 - For buying the large print of the Rainfurrest badge! Also, thanks for coming by my table so often, I needed the small breaks in action from all the crazy drawing. Your 'ineffective monsters' idea in your sketchbook was an awesome idea too!
akonite - Thanks for putting on such a stellar performance Saturday night! I can't believe I danced with the flu for 5 hours straight. I think I sweat it all off, cuz I felt amazing on Sunday morning.
kyell - Thanks for stopping by my table for the nice chat. It's been a good year since I seen you last in Seattle! Sorry I wasn't able to find time to stop by Sunday - I got swamped with last minute commissions I wanted to wrap up before the con ended. I'll remind myself to start your commission once I'm finished this batch.
MurphyErasmus - You gave me so many giggles! When will we stop doing our bash-compliment-wars? You also gave me Cold-FX during Saturday morning, which was super sweet of you, and you have the silliest ideas for badges!
maxcoyote - I'm glad I got to meet you! I love your character and it was a blast talking hockey-talk with another person who actually enjoys the sport.
mandakatt - I needed your bubbly attitude Saturday afternoon to help pull me through. Keep being your awesome self :)
Lady-Serpent - I'm glad I got to see more of you this con, I missed you this last year dearly! Thanks for the wonderful sketch in my sketchbook. I love that glasses ya gave on me, and you made me look all slim and sexy(er)!
-All the Alberta furs - Haha! Every year it seems. I love it when all of you stop by my table and play catch up with me. Every year I'm reminded of the short but amazing time when I was living in Alberta and how thankful I was to be there - Maestro, Fallout, CheetahKit, Lucifur, Fox MC, Jalmu, Sngglbny, Morg and anyone else who I'm forgetting at this time, you all know who you are :3
I'm sorry if I forgot any names. I met so many wonderful people in the three days time it would take me awhile to write them all down!
