My Screencaps.
I am SO sick and tired of people on FA saying I can't copyright my screencaps or reffs I have made using screencaps because I didn't make the base model.
I am NOT claiming the fucking base model!
That'd be like saying an artist doesn't own their art because they didn't create the canvas they painted it on. They're not claiming the rights to the damn canvas.
I DO have rights to it because I FUCKING DESIGNED the textures, I FUCKING CREATED the textures on the thing in the screencap.
The character you are looking at in the screencap was designed by me.
I fucking own it, mmkay?
So shut the fuck up and stop telling me I can't copyright my screencaps submitted because I "didn't create the base model." Obviously. Did you create Paint Tool SAI? No? Oh, well I guess you can't copyright your art then. c:
Ah durr.
Screenshots, Screencaptures and Image Generators
Screenshots - Screenshots are not permitted. This includes screenshots of websites, desktops, applications, games (console, PC) or film.
Exception: Interface designers may upload screenshots of websites or interfaces that they have created so long as they are complete, original designs, use no copyrighted material, AND the screenshot does not include portions of the computer or browser interface.
Image & Character Generators - Submissions created via design generators are not permitted. This includes "create a character" designers, template/interface generators (e.g. faux error messages, de/motivational posters, card game template makers, etc.) or any system that creates an object based on pre-defined content within the program.
Fractals & Terrain Generators - Fractals and generated terrain are permitted provided they comply with the Flooding policy. Terrains created using in-game level editors are prohibited.
Sprites - Sprites ripped from games are prohibited. This includes modified/edited sprites or palette swapped images.
3D Modelling & Texturing
User-created original 3D models are permitted with no limitations.
Re-textured Models
Users may submit retextured models provided that the base model is not "stock" (e.g. is packaged with an editing suite or game). These types of uploads must meet all of the following requirements:
Focus: The submission's primary purpose should be to showcase the uploader's work. Submissions which focus on work not done by the uploader may be removed. Models that have been customized with only content created by others are not acceptable uploads.
Presentation: If the submission is a screenshot from within a 3D editing suite or program such as Second Life, no part of the program's interface may be visible. Models may not be presented in their default pose (e.g. the "T-pose").
Background: The background of the submission must be blank/nondescript or of the uploader's own creation.
Description: The submission's description must include credit to the original creators of all content not made by the uploader, as well as a summary of the work the uploader did to customize the model.

Which I do. So people need to shut the fuck up and stop telling me I can't copyright my shit when I'm the one who made the damn thing.
