I just heard news about my favorite author Anne McAffrey has passed away at 85. For those of you who don't know her work, She is the author of the "Dragonriders of Pern" books. She had quite an impact on my life, and one of my reasons for my draconity. I loved her dragonsand, I got quite attached to her characters and her books had a way of bringing me into her world of dragons. I will miss her work.

Awww, that sucks :/ At least she lived a long life and people will remember her as long as her books are still around!

Her books will be harder to come by now there. They can be hard to get a hold of.

I have yet to find a library or half-price books sci-fi section WITHOUT her books. I trust her's will be reprinted eventually, too.
