first you gotta decided what kind of services you'll offer as for prices the range is so large its hard to say. i'd say look at people who do commissions to get an idea.

Money orders won't work - unless you truly know what you're doing. It's normally reserved for companies. PayPal would be better.

well, I'm old but the thing is I don't have a suitable way to get around town, lol. so really, mail is my only option. but if it's questionable, then it probably wouldn't be worth the risk, lol.

While you need a bank account to transfer money to and from your Paypal account; you can open one without connecting to a bank and get funds from sent money. I would have a bank account connected to it though, so you wouldn't have so much money just chilling in there.

As for money orders, it wouldn't be a good idea to give out your address to strangers, but maybe I'm paranoid. XD

Overall, I would like to see you put some thought into this. Like prices, what you can't and can do in regards to interest/disinterest, "What about porn?" since I know you don't have much privacy at home, etc.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't mail out your balance to you. XD
You can have people send you money(and if you have some money in your balance, you can send money to people) but you can't deposit/withdraw from it into your bank account (if you have one) unless that account is connected to your Paypal one.
