A beast or a weapon.
I had been made neither, and both.

To know I could never die peacefully was something I already had. But until this moment, it had never before been so true.
So impactful.
I hate myself for what I am, what I have always been, and what I will become.
But I have no choice other than life. It is my duty to live on regardless of how I feel in the situation.
I wish I could have traded places with him.
But then... that would be too easy.
As I deserve this pain.
And I deserve to suffer for my sins."
