I work with computers for a living, and one of the earliest phrases I learned to say in Chinese was:

I work at a Computer Repair shop and was an IT manager for a small company for 5 years.

First and foremost... back up all your important data!

When a new computer has issues like this it's usually bad hardware.

See if you can download Seagates Seatools and scan the HD for sector errors. If it comes out clean then I would reformat or run a chkdsk /r.
