A handful of rants

I find myself annoyed by those that decide to speak against a group of people because it seems to be the trendy thing to do.
It is rather annoying when people say that this group or that group are all crazy when they watch cartoons that are of that genre.
Take those that usually bash on the furry fandom, they ten dot be ones that watch shows that have anthropomorphic characters in them such as Bugs Bunny, any of the my little ponies, the carebears, Kung Fu Panda, as well as Transformers. Yes, I lump Transformers in with the anthro things because what is Optimus Prime, a truck cab brought to life as a sentient robot. One should not hate a fandom if there are shows like these involved and watched by those that do not consider themselves "furries." Yes, I am quite aware that there are extremists in every group and Furries have their fair share of bad apples in the bunch. However, being in the subgenre of fandoms of Transformers, they have their fair share as well. The same with the bronies.
I do find it rather sad when I have to reevaluate how I see someone when they seem like a rather open and thoughtful individual and they turn around and act rather closeminded to another fandom because someone else said it first.

I was going to go with a title of "Since nobody reads this anyways" but that would've sounded even whinier than intended as well as trying to stroke an ego of whether or not there were readers let alone perhaps the handful of those that comment. So, I decided against it.

I used to like Formspring until the Formspring roleplayers killed it for me. I was (still am) part of the original TFARP that occurred on Twitter when Transformers Animated was airing, along with many others, one of the writers of the Allspark Almanac guided us along in Roleplay where we got it to the end of the mythic fourth season. Things are still going along with the RP, however, a decent portion have decided to go off to Formspring. That isn't what annoyed me the most. It is those roleplayers that decided that they are better than everyone because their RP is bigger...with not much substance in it.
I have tried to get involved in it as well as others, but what annoys me the most are the promises of "Yes, you can take your time with answering." and instead of being able to do so, one must be focused on the screen because if you don't answer right away, you miss most of the action. There are those that have complained about the twitter RP being too quick and demanding, well guess what pot, you're the same way.

On a lighter note, I have dropped two pants sizes, or a little more, since April.
I'm thankful for those that I can consider my friends.

FA+

I totally get what you are saying.
I do know what you mean nothing can be quite so petty as a fan boy or girl out to prove there particular passtime is more legitimate than any other
Yeah, or saying that an entire genre of fans are wackadoos when it is a handful.
And thank you ^_^
Thank you ^_^
