I read this 10 seconds after mentioning Comcast in reply to the last journal.
When you talk to Comcast, demand the unadvertized Economy Tier DSL service unless you absolutely cannot tolerate DSL.
On the other hand, I may research Comcast on the State Attourny General's Consumer Division website.
I live in an urban/suburban area, so there's got to be viable alternatives to the Komcast Reich.
