As soon as you read this I will have full control of your mind... now read my journal.
It's not the most popular of countries, I realize, but it's still my home; and when I see something as rude as I have today, it really irks me.
Now I'll admit, I don't thoroughly enjoy living in America, but it's not the worst place I could be living, either. That being said, whenever I see something like this
"Okay so we are late again..Ooops. First off blame the yanky [holiday]. Those jerks do it on a Thursday! What the hell?"
and
"Anyways Happy Yank [holiday] to the yanks. To the [citizens of a certain country], we are better then them and have [the holiday] at the proper date in October."
then have that followed up by a comment reply
"Well if that upset you, you should probably stop reading my comments then."
it really pisses me off.
I don't care who you are, or what's happened in your life. You don't just bash some other country and their customs like that in public, where many people can and will see it. You just. Fucking. Don't.
Inb4 comments about being a hypocrite, I know that the USA is pretty much doing the same thing to the Middle East, but I'm not the USA. Don't get on my case because the US gov't is full of idiots.
So to those of you who may know what I'm talking about, you'll never see me post a comment there again, because that certain site is being removed from my favorites and bookmarks. If someone is so rude that they think they will maintain readership for being a dick, then they are rudely mistaken.

but i understand how you feel in a way, i live on an island and we and the mainland don't get a long too much xD they make fun of our supposed accents =P
