Loves his new icon. Found it on DA. GO TEAM LUIGI!
Onto other news.
I have a new job! While I'm still employed by the baseball stadium, I am now working at a theater during the off season (and during the season, I'll see if I can swing it.)
I'm getting paid a bit weird. I'm working for less money, but my paychecks are bigger. More hours, see. $11.59 an hour at the baseball stadium, but I only work six to twelve hours a week. I've only worked one week at this theater, and I've put in over thirty hours. So even if it's $8 something an hour, I'm getting more.
Even though I have a specialty in lighting, I'm doing set construction for the time being. The theater is still under construction, actually. They built the stage last week, and the walls are being painted right now. So there's no lighting to be done just yet. Instead, I'm building this massive nativity scene. Because we all know just how much I believe in seven pound six ounce baby Jesus. But it's a Christmas show, what you gonna do? I'm kind of hoping to put an eyepatch on Santa and make him Odin for a bit. You know, the original idea behind a large bearded man flying through the cold December night sky on an eight legged horse.
Oh wait, obscure reference warning. Forgot about that.
But yes! I have a new job! I don't have any time to sleep! Yay me! But no, it's fun. I enjoy it. My hands and knees and back hurt, but we're getting things done. Not standing around waiting to pour beer.
