@Snapai (me) / @Snapimation (art)"Never underestimate music in this mix. The right music will keep me at my desk for hours, and the right music can make the difference between a great drawing and a so-so drawing. I have playlists that I write to, excercise to, draw to, and ink to."

I found that quote, and was all, "YES!" I always thought that the bit in Animator's Survival Kit about unplugging from music seemed to be missing something.
Personally, it seems like my best ideas and art always are music fueled.
I guess it's more that your musical environment has an effect on how you draw- so if you're animating, particularly if you're animating inbetweens, you don't necessarily WANT your music to shift your drawing attitude one way or another per frame.
But it's great for inspiration. :D

Inspiration for me comes from boredom, when my mind has to make it's own entertainment.
