It seems like that. This chick is really pissing me off. She's mainly preyed on one artist, and her character is a TRACE OF THE BADGE. ARRGHH!

If you know the artists in THAT that were ripped off, they probably should be contacted as well.

so if that is all Kitty's art, why does anybody notice the art style changes into every possible dierection without being the sligthest bit coherent?

as for the ripped-off artists, I guess some stuff is traced from artwork by  tanidareal some typical details remind me of it. I could be wrong, though...

I wasn't doubting you on that. I was stating a thought that came to my mind seeing stuff that doesn't come from the same artist apparently, yet is claimed to be. that animated film features stuff which details change in ways that are hard to follow. normally it would take years to change so blatantly. at least in my opinion...
but I guess it's the same state of mind that makes people ask those for comissions who state it clearly that all posted artwork were gifts and comissions done by OTHER artists (posted with permission, like).

Eh? Why not report her for Art Theft at MySpace or whatver she/he is posting and tell them they will get sued if they dont band her, its that simple. Its America, you guys love to use other people over all kind of stuff, so use it here, for the good.

Well, I know one woman has informed MySpace, I just wanted people on FA to know not to buy art from this girl.

I'd ask guyver47. She's the one who has had the most trouble with this girl.

And she's done this before? Yes, you can learn from other artists by referencing their work, but NEVER post the stuff you redrew/copied/traced/whatever. That's just insulting. Instead they should practice with the other art (with permission of course) and then come up with their OWN art and post it while linking to and showing it to the original artist. That's just courtesy.

One would think that it would be common courtesy, but... alas. This girl is obviously none too considerate of the people she's stealing concepts and art from. When it gets this bad, it's hard to imagine that anything other than shaming them will work.

Well hopefully everyone will catch on (on MySpace) and they'll ban her or something.
She can probably draw alright herself, but it's just easier to copy. I'm not trying to defend her, I'm just as pissed off as anyone else (except for guyver47, I can only imagine her level of piss-off-ed-ness) I just want to try and figure out what would drive someone to blatantly copy like that.

Logic escapes some people. Copying is bad enough, but the more artists you copy, the more things there are for someone to recognize and catch on.
