Lol yeah... That's kinda the obvious answer, if I want to get it removed. I'm just not sure if that's what I want to happen. I've never been in this position before. What's normal? Do people really care? Is it normal to ask to have it removed? Do we ask for credit? Should I contact the original artist (because this was com work)?

I'd ask why the person took your character then go from there, if they're hostel about is ask them to remove it and if their nice I guess you could let them use it. Just make sure they aren't claiming it as their own original character.

The best we can probably do is request that they take it down.
It's still pretty rude to use it without permission.

Yeah, I had a girl emailing pictures of suits that I had made, saying that she had made them so she could make commissions. I confronted her, then she lied and said her sister did it. Really it was not a big deal. I really was kinda honored, that if you are going to lie and say you made something, you typically don't pick crap. So, I knew I was at least above crap.



As far as your dilemma. Well, I am guessing he searched something on google, assumed nobody would care, and posted it as a basic idea of what he was going for.

I have to admit, a few years ago when I was new around here, I did similar things. I would be willing to bet it was not anything more than a naive impulse.
