I'm in the middle of watching the latest My Little Pony episode(Mare Do Well) and after re-watching the 12-minute part several times due to a bad download(tried it in a few players before just re-downloading), I just noticed that the dam has little pink hearts on the structure at the base of it. Little... pink... hearts.
That is adorable, really. We need power dams with little pink hearts on them.
I also just watched May The Best Pet Win(I'm late, I know, I've been busy). I of course already read plenty about Tank. The first half of the episode actually felt like a movie. I think it was the musical number. It just felt that grand. Also, LOL Derpy. What'chu doin' in that chicken coop? I saw it mentioned before, so I was looking for her. That is downright silly.
I look forward to the next episode. Season 2 is showing no signs of loosing steam. And neither is Tank.
....oh, right. I haven't finished this last episode yet. *goes back to it, now that it's re-downloaded... oh but first...* I've been suspecting the mare is Twilight, but on the part my file stopped on, she has WINGS, TOO! That seems impossible due to the only ponies... oh, right, it's obviously Luna, then. It IS her build. *goes back to the episode*
update SPOILERS BELOW:
*finishes episode*
Well I DID think it seemed out of character for Luna, but she's the only pony with a horn AND wings AND her build. Of course we never see both in the same place at the same time, so of course it's possible they're not the same Mare... wait, that somehow sounds backwards(*re-watches Superman the original series*).
Anyway, it was clear that the Mane 6 were up to something, but I was sure that they had dragged Luna into it. If you want to show Rainbow Dash up in order to teach her a lesson, you have to bring in a goddess. I didn't expect the multipleBatmans Mare Do Wells until they started having Pinkie's and Twilight's teleportation powers(yes, Pinkie has them, they're part of her cartoon powers that none of the others seem to have except maybe Spike).

That was a fun episode. It was released on my 25th Birthday. I think it's the first time my Dad sat down and watched an entire one with me. It's the only TV time slot I request for myself all week, Saturday morning for the new pony episode. Nobody is usually awake anyway. Watching it as soon as it's released gives me the edge to get started on making my custom ponies first based on whatever new material the show gives me.
The Pet episode was good (Mom watched that one with me). Though for me, it needed to be about 20% cooler. The first song of the season was good, but not as catchy as I would have liked. I'm sure it will grow on me, but it felt more like Gilbert and Sullivan filler than the usual Pony tunes that get stuck in your head for days. I've heard it twice and still couldn't hum the melody if you asked me.
So far the season has done quite well, though Discord's episode has yet to be beaten for overall humor, adventure, and awesomeness. I've enjoyed the Sweetie Belle and Rarity episode, the Crazy Twilight episode, and the Nighmare Night episodes quite a bit. The Cutie Pox was fun too. I guess it's just the last two episodes I didn't like too much. They were good (the show is always good ^__^ ), just not my favorite material so far.
I'm anticipating the Christmas special "Hearth's Warming Eve" to be at least as good as the Halloween episode, with hopefully a song thrown in.
Looks like we're in for another Rarity episode and a Spike episode before that. What about Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy? When do they get a turn? Rainbow Dash had 2 episodes in a row! I know she's awesome, but mix it up a little. ^___^
No word on improved Toys from Hasbro as of yet, other than the Male ponies in the Blind Bag series 2 that are not released in the US yet.
Tank still doesn't seem like a cool enough pet for Rainbow Dash, but it's certainly the most interesting match of the given candidates. Sure, a bat is cool, but RD doesn't seem like the bat type. I'll be interested in finding out where she keeps a large tortoise that can't walk on clouds. With the amount of Rainbow Dash in this episode, I really hoped to see Tank at least once.

The show had done toy-tie-ins like that one before. Like the balloon that opens the show. ^__^
